    @Quake120 Yes, but even digital cinema uses a framerate of 24fps. It’s industry-standard.

    @strannik i suppose that Adobe Premiere pro would work. But if you are looking to spend more like 2k+ avid media composer is good (it is used to edit programs and films) but i think for wat you say you want it for A P P would be a good idea

    small question:

    small question:
    When recording 1280×720 is the shooting speed automatically 24fps, or do I have to set that somewhere in the camera?

    @strannik what i …
    @strannik what i have done with some of the video i have shot is take it into FCP and then bump up the contrast like 18% to exaggerate the colors but not to destroy the depth. In this video he may have used a better lens.

    I have a question!! …
    I have a question!! Please respond to it. I hope you will. I have that camera. After I use 720p and high resolutio, the video is not comparable to yours. I have noise, colors are not so awesome… why? Did you use some kind of a program or filters on top? Pictures are fine. I hope it’s not a “bad camera”. I’ve bought it in bestbuy.

    Wow, I gotta say, the quality presented here may very well beat those semi pro hd video cameras. I dont like however the visible adjustments of light, idk if its from utube or if its like this for real.

    Film is shot at that frame rate, but projected at 72fps (with a triple-bladed shutter so each frame is shown 3 times to avoid strobe).

    But nevermind. I hadnt played around with the settings yet, so it IS 5 minutes for 720P. But for quality under that is 20 minutes. Sorry for the confusion!

    Incorrect. Saying ” …
    Incorrect. Saying “thats not very good” is simply your opinion. If looking for a more cinematic look, 24 FPS is the BEST because that is what film cameras shoot at. In the case of action videos (Sports, running) yes, 24FPS may not be as good as say 30 FPS but it is managable.

    It’s actually the same frame-rate as film (real film, not digital).
