    This model is …
This model is defective it suffers a suden dead sydrom, it means one day all of sudenly will not switch on. Also the autofocus in Live View is not fuctioning and you will lose the chance to take great photos if you try to use it in critical photographic moments. Shame to Nikon for selling a product that knows is defective. According to Chinese rumors there are more defective models ( all new models) this model I know by sure that is defective don’t buy it. Nikon ought to fans a big apologize.

Yes, there are a few benifits to the D90. Also what i enjoy most is it autofocuses older AF-S lenses. Like the 50mm f1.8. :D

    one thing I like …
one thing I like about the D5000 over the D90 is it has time lapse shooting built in. Also the Swivel screen is very handy for me as I do a lot of Astrophotography as the camera is always on a tri-pod or connected to a telescope.
