No your wrong….Harddrive camcorders are good BUT!! There not good for any movement the harddrive stops recording…..Mini dv Canon GL2 is tape and its $1,500+ and the Canon XL1 is 2,000+ and its tape…….Harddrive mostly means easy uploud and in some cases slightly better video Q…….

Its a cheap camera from Walgreens, and it was about $100.
It works great outdoors, but what kind of consumer camera should i get that has a

when will mega pixels max out??? i think where at around 14 MP’s now 3 years ago we were around 6-7 maybe. this is bullshit. U know in some japanese lab there is a camera fully made that is like 30 mega pixels. but they will slowly bring pixels 1-2 at a time. to make more money. whats after digital camera’s. 3-d image camera of course.

i recommend u buy a dslr. its a perfect for your puspose. buy a lightest one so u can bring it with wherever u go. for your budget olympus e-420 with lens kit 14-42mm its suit you best. but before you decide to buy you have to test them first. this’ general rules before you buy anything. good luck n happy shooting!
